Theomin

The term Theomin is a hybrid of theology and ministry showing the correlation of correct theology and personal ministry. Since the first is a prerequisit and the second is an outcome, we purpose to develop biblical themes on a weekly bases and describe ministry both on a personal and pastoral level daily.

Hi, I am Pastor Howard L. Wilburn of the Salem Baptist Church of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I have served as the pastor at Salem since November 2000. Salem is an Independent Baptist Church located on South Broad Street and is the mother church of Piedmont Baptist College.

It was also my privilege to serve as the President of Piedmont Baptist College for 14 years. Prior to that I spent 15 years as the pastor of churches in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina.

I graduated from PBC in 1973 with a Bachelor of Theology Degree. Additionally, I attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I earned the Master of Education and Doctor of Education degrees.

My wife is the former Judy Ann Ellison. We both grew up in the small community of Daniels, West Virginia. We were married on June 2, 1972. The Lord blessed us with two wonderful sons who are both in the ministry. John serves as a missionary with Baptist Mid-Missions in Melbourne, Australia. Michael is the pastor of the Lexington Baptist Church of Lexington, Virginia.
