Theomin

The term Theomin is a hybrid of theology and ministry showing the correlation of correct theology and personal ministry. Since the first is a prerequisit and the second is an outcome, we purpose to develop biblical themes on a weekly bases and describe ministry both on a personal and pastoral level daily.

Pure Identity – Organic Church

Pure IdentityPure Identity

Acts 2:41

Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.

On the Day of Pentecost those who received Peter's message immediately identified themselves through baptism. When they publically committed themselves to this new movement, they not only ostracized themselves from family and friend at a great personal expense, but they set the standard for every believer since.

The close connect between salvation and baptism in Acts 2:41 causes some to teach that baptism is essential for salvation. Unfortunately, they overlook the testimony of publically professing Jesus. When Christ is received there is a new identity with Jesus as Savior. No water required. Anything less is a prostitute Gospel. Without the Jesus the Gospel means nothing, and without identifying with Jesus baptism means nothing. This Sunday we will learn that we must publically identify ourselves with Jesus, His bride, and the people He loved to be an organic church.

What is an Organic Church?

An organic church is a church unhindered by novelties and tradition, and intentional about the glory of God, the promotion of the Gospel and the maturity of believers.
